I’m trying a fun little experiment as a way of promoting this comic as well as adding a little more to the story outside of the comic itself. I created a new Twitter account: @NathanSorry which will consist of Nathan’s own thoughts during the lost two month period from 9/11 to the time he shows up at Freddy’s Place in North Carolina.

Now, before you say anything, yes I realize that this story takes place years before Twitter was ever invented and by nature Twitter is a real time medium so it doesn’t really make any sense for Nathan to be tweeting. But if the Mad Men characters can do it (and to great success) then maybe I can make it work too. We’ll see. Let me know what you think of the idea and the execution.

So follow Nathan and see what’s going through his head while he wanders the country, slowly sinking into his new identity. If you’re not on Twitter don’t worry – you won’t be missing crucial elements to this story. I never intended on delving too deeply into this two month period in the comic outside of some verbal references. Frankly, Nathan does a whole lot of nothing besides watching tv, sleeping in motels, picking up a few items that Pryor has left behind, and slowly growing paranoid and crazy. Nothing too visual but it could play out very well in text messages. But think of this as one of those Lost games inbetween seasons where it can add a new layer to the story but if you don’t partake you’re not missing out on any important plot details.

Even a guy who’s dropped out of society needs some time off once in a while.

There won’t be a new page posted this week but hopefully by the end of next week we’ll get back on track. Be sure to check back next week because coming up we’ll find out what Old Tom Scrub is referring to in regards to the house, Nathan…I mean James… will start to fill us in a little on what he was doing for the past two months, and we’ll flashback to the morning of 9/11 where James…wait, I mean Nathan…begins his journey of self-renewal.

If you’ve been following regularly you’ll notice that I managed to get this page up within a week of the last page. I’m hoping that will be my new schedule going forward so that ideally you can check this site out every Monday to see a new page. In fact, next week we may even see two new pages since the next page is a chapter break page which will only be one panel.

Also, look for a site redesign coming soon maybe as early as this week. This site has been a bit of a mess since I originally threw it up. Not much of a design but I’m also running this with the Comicpress plug-in but not really using it properly. So I may try to rectify that as long as I can transfer everything over without losing any inbound links, trackbacks, comments, etc.
