I realize that this most recent page was pretty late but unfortunately this is going to be a tough month for me as I’m in the middle of a large design project that is taking up a lot of my time. I’m going to do my best to keep close to my schedule but expect some more lateness over the next few weeks.
So, with that in mind – plus in case I’ve picked up some new readers recently from the new webcomic thread on The Whitechapel boards or this review on The Comics Reporter – I figure now is a good time to remind everyone of the ways you can find out when new pages go up. Since, even when I’m on my regular weekly schedule I can’t guarantee a consistent new page day I offer these ways of being alerted (ranked in order of immediacy and reliability):
Email Alerts.
These emails go out within minutes of a page going up. The only reason I use these emails is for page alerts so don’t worry about me spamming you with other news. It’s also very easy to unsubscribe from these (the link is at the bottom of each email) so if you find that you don’t need to be alerted this way anymore feel free to unsubscribe. I won’t be offended.

RSS Feed.
If you’re familiar with RSS feeds than you’re probably already reading this on one. It’s really a great way to keep up on a lot of blog oriented websites. Many webcomic creators keep their art from appearing in their RSS feeds because they want you to come to the site where you’ll be tracked as a hit in their analytics software. I care more about people reading the comic than I do getting hits on the website. So feel free to subscribe here.
Facebook.
Not only will you find out right away when a page goes up, but since I’ve started the Nathan Sorry Fan Page on Facebook I’ve been using it a lot for Nathan Sorry related news and posting other little goodies that I haven’t gotten around to posting in this space yet. Plus, its a great way for readers to interact with me about the story.

Twitter.
There’s actually two Twitter accounts you can follow to keep up with Nathan Sorry news and page alerts. My personal account (@richcbarrett) is the most active. I don’t use it soley for tweeting about the comic though and I’m pretty active on it so if you’re not following a lot of other people you might get tired of me showing up in your feed. Nathan Sorry himself has his own account (@nathansorry) which I originally started as an experiment. The idea was to tweet as Nathan himself, showing thoughts from his head during the missing two month period between 9/11 and his showing up in Freddy’s restaurant. But that got to be a little too much to manage so I’ve recently started using that strictly as a Nathan Sorry news account.
Tumblr.
This is the least reliable method for getting page alerts. In fact, I don’t always post on here and when I do it can be up to a week after the page has gone up. But what I use this for is showing excerpts from the art. It’s really more of a promotional vehicle for bringing in new readers.
