I don’t have a whole lot to say about this page. There are parts of it I really like and other parts I think I dropped the ball on a little but I’m not going to get into any of that.

Warren Ellis recently blogged about how he formats his scripts in a way that prevents him from writing too many words for each word balloon. Since this is something I wrestle with (though I’m a little of two minds on it since I don’t want to scrimp on the dialogue) I might give it a try.

Last time out I mentioned how I changed up my process a little and had a number of people comment about it here and on Twitter. A couple of people suggested printing my sketches out as blue lines to ink on top of. My printer, however, only prints 8.5″x11″ and I work 9″x12″. Maybe in the near future I will upgrade my printer to one that prints onto larger paper but first I need to buy a new computer because this old one is slogging through even writing this post right now much less retouching 600dpi line work.
