Good Night and Good Luck: B

I was frankly a little underwhelmed with this after all the hype I've been hearing for months now. That said, it was nice to see a film about real events that didn't feel the need to sensationalize them or force it into a formula. The McCarthy witchhunt is pretty well known history but I didn't know anything about Edward R. Murrow's involvement in shedding light on the senator's shenanigans. It definitely makes you long for a time when TV news actually sought the truth and took itself seriously. The film seemed a little light and it's most dramatic moments relied on the real footage of the McCarthy hearings. And I'm not sure what the relevance of the married couple was to the story.
