This movie made me so glad that I don't work for a big corporation anymore. It felt scarily realistic with it's depictions of senseless media mergers and inane talk of "synergy" and long-time employees who find that their rising salaries become liabilities as they become numbers that need to be cut from the bottom-line.
But of course it's a really fun movie thanks to great performances by Dennis Quaid and Topher Grace who have a great dynamic together here. Plus a charming and complicated love story between Grace and Scarlett Johannson.

You are the 2nd person to recommend this movie highly.

I am working my way thru the 3rd season of Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm and the 1st season of Arrested Development, but will try and check this out.

You know this is in the theater right? Meaning it shouldn't conflict with what you're watching on DVD.

I'm glad you're watching Arrested Development though. One of the few things I've given the elusive A+ to.
