Definitely one of the best movies of the year. Paul Giamatti has been fantastic in everything he's done but what's great about this film is the performances by actors whose careers have been long dead like Michael Haden Church (Loel! From Wings!!) and Virginia Madsen (from Candyman! I think!!).
It was great to go out for a glass of Pinot after this film.

Yes, Virginny Madsen was in Candyman. What a good, creepy movie. It was much smarter than your usual hacker/slasher movie. Plus, it had B-movie mainstay Tony Todd as the eponymous Candyman.

May have been my favorite film of the year. Had no expectations going in and was blown away!

This is definitely up there in my favorite film of the year list, which I haven't gotten around to making. I don't think it was my favorite but maybe #2 or 3.
