A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams
I haven’t read these fantastic books since I was in high school so I may be way off the mark with how I’m depicting the space-traveling researcher for the eponymous guide but since he’s been portrayed on film by actors ranging from David Dixon to Mos Def I guess I have some leeway. I liked the idea of a 70s looking dude essentially playing around with an iPad. So far none of my AlphaBooks entries look quite as good on screen as they do in the actual sketchbook I’m drawing/painting them in. I had a few people at HeroesCon confer this with me this past weekend. I probably need to figure out a way to photograph them properly rather than scan them but, jeez, I’m lucky I actually got this done this week. I’ll be taking next week off for some vacation time and hopefully will get back into the swing of things at some point after.
